4 Must-Have’s To Transition Your Natural Hair Into Spring

Can you believe that March is almost over? I am seriously in absolute “awe,” in a few days the little kingdom and I will be making the most out of Spring Break, preparing for Easter, and going really hard on de-cluttering our lives!

However, I am super stoked about the change of seasons, even though this year it seems that winter is being very “relentless,” with leaving out gracefully this year. I have seen some unseasonal weather conditions happening all across the country, including in my adopted state of Atlanta, Georgia.

By this time of the year, I am pulling out my maxi skirts, boyfriend jeans, flop flops, sneakers, and graphic tees, or maybe even an awesome pair of heels for a night out, while looking for that new “bomb” lipstick shade to wear for the Spring season. But, due to the unforeseen temperatures, I am still rocking hoodies, long sleeve blouses, and rain boots!

And girl, it is beyond important that I get my hair together, because I believe even if you are dressed in a pair of sweat pants and a mom-tee, when your hair is right you can go from the gym to the grocery store without much effort in the world! Shortly, after starting my family I would put my hair on the back burner, and wear a head wrap and call it a day. Lord knows, God is real because HE delivered me from that life, and I can really speak to the importance of self-love and self-care, and that the struggle is very real, but you can overcome it! I have been a product junkie of great hair products since my college days. I had to discover how to take care of my hair on a budget, while wearing natural hair at the same time. I have had everything from a low fade cut, to Goddess braids, to a full out blown out afro, cornrows, to dread locks for five years.

Listen, I have tried several different hair products over the span of my hair life, and I am beyond grateful to be an Ambassador for Miss. Jessie’s. I have come across Miss Jessie’s products for several years, but never had the opportunity to try them on my hair, and my daughter’s hair this year. I am super excited that I have 4 amazing must-have’s that you should try out to transition your natural hair into Spring! When I received the beloved box of Black Girl Magic in the mail, my heart literally skipped two beats at all the possibilities of what Miss. Jessie’s could do during this transitional time and to enter into Spring with a huge BANG!

Miss Jessie’s Style Regimen for Spring

1. Miss Jessie’s Honey Curls:

Oh Honey! Miss Jessie’s has whipped up something wonderful for you and your curls. Handcrafted with love and enriched by Mother Nature’s natural nectar-honey! The honey is a natural ingredient that locks in moisture and adds natural hold. Inspired by our grandmother’s attention to detail, Miss. Jessie’s Honey Curls is blended with so much goodness, and it smells so divine when you apply it to your hair, it is wonderful to define curls, wash and go styling, rod sets, conditioning hold, and natural styling!

2. Curls So Fresh:

Curls So Fresh is sprayed directly onto dry hair, then finger rake through hair until hair is fully covered. Scrunch hair for added volume. Let your newly refreshed curls air dry, or for a different result use a diffuser attachment with your blow dryer.

3. Gloss So Good:

Your textured hair is a crown of twists and turns, but your hair is not always as bright as it could be. Miss Jessie’s Gloss So Good is an ultra-smooth finishing mist that puts the spotlight on your curls. When you are ready to leave out of the door this is the ultimate go-to the job done, with a fresh gloss to your hair style for both the day and night!

4. Grow Strong Mafura Hair Oil:

This is the best hair oil on the planet period! It supports hair growth, provides major moisture, strengthens natural hair, prevents breakage, delivers natural shine!

What is your natural hair style regimen for Spring?
