Are You Ready To Declare?
ARE YOU READY TO DECLARE? My hopes for this workbook is that you will intentionally declare God’s word over specific areas of your life. This workbook is very specific and if used correctly very effective.
What is a declaration? A formal or explicit statement or announcement.
What is a spiritual declaration? A formal or explicit statement that includes scripture.
Example: My mouth speaks LIFE! When I open my mouth I bless others. I will speak what the Lord is calling from me to speak and not speak when the Lord is calling me to silence. According to Proverbs 15:4 my tongue is a tree of life and not a perverse tongue that will crush the spirit. I speak God’s word and hearing the word increases my faith!
Why are spiritual declarations important? What we speak brings forth life. Speaking God’s word over your life brings forth GOOD FRUIT.
Now let’s get to it! We will first evaluate 4 areas where the struggle is real.
1. Mouth – What we say regarding our lives 2. Mind – What we think regarding our lives 3. Heart – What we believe regarding our lives 4. Purpose – Understanding the WHY
This workbook will allow you to make powerful spiritual statements regarding each area.
Now, for the sake of balance, I added 6 categories that will ensure that your goals are balanced.
The 6 areas are: • Spiritual/Ethical • Physical/Health • Social/Cultural • Mental/Educational • Family/Home • Finances/Career
Once your declarations are set, locate a bible scripture, a word to focus on, and set some S.M.A.R.T. goals for each quarter of the year.
Specific (simple, sensible, significant). Measurable (meaningful, motivating). Achievable (agreed, attainable). Relevant (reasonable, realistic and resourced, results-based). Time bound (time-based, time limited, time/cost limited, timely, time-sensitive).
Here’s the best way to approach completing this work book: 1. Be Prayerful 2. Be Honest 3. Be Creative
Are You Ready To Declare? Workbook Review
I am always looking for ways to navigate through this thing called life. I am a huge fan of anything that can help with my faith-walk and take it to the next level!
Now I know that it may seem hard to believe that achieving some type of balance in life, could be far from impossible, but however with the right tools you can get really close to at least having some clarity during the year.
Tot has absolutely nailed this workbook. If you are looking for a way to up your spiritual game, or you are hoping to revisit your goals that you declared at the beginning of the year, you will be blown away at the creativity of the pages that flow freely through this God-filled book. From the very first page, she is very specific on how to help you map out the landscape of discovering ways to elevate your heart, mind, spirit, and soul.
This year has been one full of declarations that have been spoken into my life, and spoken over my family’s life. I thought this value-packed workbook worked perfectly with the unpredictable direction of “walking by faith and not by sight,” and to continue to speak God’s word over your life to bring forth GOOD FRUIT. I love that Tot Jones has broken the workbook down into 6 areas Spiritual/Ethical. Physical/Health, Social/Cultural, Mental/Educational, Family/Home. and Finance/Career. Once your declarations are set, locate a bible scripture, a word to focus on, and smart goals for every quarter of the year.
I thought that setting SMART goals each quarter of the year, is a wonderful way to stay on top of things and really organized and focused by being prayerful each step of the way. When it comes to spiritual declarations it is crucial not to take anything for granted, and to speak honest, truth, peace, love, and abundance over your life! I think that this workbook is the best blue print to accomplish measurable, reasonable, and timely goals. Cheers to setting goals and slaying them!
