Here’s your daily guide for living in the moment
Everyone knows that in our busy, hectic lives, achieving “mindfulness,” is a good idea-but what does it really mean, and how do you turn this buzzword into an actual lifestyle.
Living mindfully means living with less stress, improved sleep, emotional clarity, and even a strengthened immune system-its about slowing down, exploring your world, and understanding the moments of joy.
Catherine Price is the author of the bestselling Gratitude: A Journal, comes this inspiring and insightful fill-in journal. The writing prompts and inspirational quotes within these pages will help you live mindfully everyday allowing you to think deeply about what’s really important, and reveal new ways to feel peaceful, grateful, and prepared for the ups and downs in life.
I really love living “mindfully,” I believe that I should speak life, live life, and love life! But in order for me to appreciate everything in my life and be content with each moment it is key to self-reflect on all of my blessings.
This time of year is when I really take a moment to self-reflect and look back on all the goals that I planned at the beginning of the year. I take this time to understand my small wins and celebrate the things that I have accomplished to date.
However, this season I am taking part in a 7 Day writing journal challenge through the Be Free Project. I am so grateful for this challenge because it encourages my writing skills to return to my love of journal writing, and that is where the mindfulness journal comes into play in my life.
I have always been a huge fan of prayer, meditation, yoga, and any other medium that fit my spiritual growth naturally towards achieving balance, clarity, and peace.
My overall goals spiritually are to live a less stressed life, improve my sleeping patterns, get more physical exercise, gain emotional clarity, and strengthen my immune system.
What I simply adored about this book from the beginning is the front cover. The simple light blue color, with white flowers cascading across the front just brought a sense of peace. Featuring a sleek, modern design in a toteable, giftable package, Mindfulness: A Journal provides the user with a series of simple journaling prompts designed to nurture a positive, calming framework to approach the day.
Each of the writing prompts provides the user with space to examine one’s self and ponder some of the basic tenets of mindfulness. The journal can be completed at whatever pace the user prefers to work at (daily, weekly, etc) and features inspirational quotes sprinkled throughout, as well as introductory material on the practice of mindfulness and a list of resources for further reading.
I really have utilized this wonderful journal every morning, and it has become a perfect guide to living in the moment. I would highly recommend this fill-in journal to anyone who is seeking to reach a place of spiritual clarity and gratitude each day. I received this book from Blogging for Books for review.
