As Halloween creeps up on us, I thought it was important to warn dog parents of the potential risks looming around them. There are many decorations and foods around this time of year that can be harmful to your beloved pets the most important things to look out for to keep all pups safe. For full disclosure I am not a dog parent, because just taking care of my family, business, and blog are really enough for me to have on my plate.
However, I have a lot of close friends and neighbors that have pets in my neighborhood, and surrounding area that could benefit from having awareness of taking care of their pets during the holiday season. The thing is that I know that your dogs can become just as loyal, loving, and kind as any family member.
This is the season to take extra care of your pets welfare with being open to all the upcoming holiday activities in your family home and within the community. The decorations, and holiday foods could effect the livelihood of your pet. Make sure that you keep decorations in a high enough place where your pet cannot get a hold of them this Halloween. Take a note of the foods that you and your family consume at all times with keeping your dog in mind that they will not consume any of it, that is not within their dietary plan.
And Girl, keeping your pets safe is one of the most important ways to show love to your growing dog, and to really show the love that you give them all year round!
I believe that the holidays is a special time for everyone, including that awesome pet that we care about in the household. I have met some of the most gracious dog parents in my neighborhood, and only wish the best for their “beyond adorable pets,” this Halloween. I am grateful that I discovered PuppySpot, to help spread the message of keeping your pets out of harms way, and to pay attention to the hazards that could be around every corner this year.
