Mother of the World.net had the fun filled time to have some meaningful conversation with the eco-conscious millennial mom living in a sparkly world Aaronica B. Cole also known as the Crunchy Mommy. Being eco-friendly can present its challenges especially if you are a busy mom. Most mothers are weighed down by hectic schedules, household chores, and a challenging work life balance.
Mothers have the responsibility of making the most healthy meal choices, creating a safe environment for their children, and making the most out of their children’s play areas and kitchens without being wasteful in an effort to be more environmentally friendly. In the spirit of Mother’s Day, and to acknowledge busy environmentally conscious mothers around the world. Mother of the World.net is super excited to share some crunchy moments with the Crunchy Mommy!

MW: How would you describe yourself as a Crunchy Mommy?
ABC: Hmmm… I’m so bad at questions like this because my initial answer is “me!” Lol. But I’m a mom who’s more conscious about the thing we put in and on our bodies. I pay attention to the impact that it has on both us and our environment.
MW: How do you manage your time to run your blog, business, motherhood, and self care?
ABC: With a great husband. Seriously. He’s been my biggest cheerleader and rock throughout this crazy journey. He fills in where I leave off on everything from cleaning to putting the girls to bed. I’m also a chronic planner. Right now I’m dibbling with bullet Journaling and am really enjoying the flexibility it offers.
MW: Can you tell me some of your strengths that really helped you with blogging?
ABC: I think the biggest strength is knowing my own voice in writing and sticking to it.
MW: What do you think is the best service that a blogger can provide for their readers?
ABC: Hmm. I think consistency is important.
MW: Who has impacted you most in blogging and how?
ABC: My kids since they’re who I base most of my posts on. And my friend Brittany from Clumps of Mascara. She’s once of my best friends and mentor in this blogging game.
MW: What do you do in your spare time?
ABC: Plan. Ha! Lame I know but my business is like a 3 headed dragon. I blog, I’m a social media consultant, and etsy seller so I don’t really have a lot of free time since I’m also a mom and wife. I’m working on getting some more spare time now.
MW: What inspired you to start your blog?
ABC: Friends kept asking me for advice, remedies, and recipes so I started this one. I’ve been blogging for about 10 years but this one I loved because I felt it was truly me.
MW: What do you find is the most frustrating aspect about blogging?
ABC: Coming up with good titles. This is soooooo hard for me!
MW: How do you motivate yourself to keep the blog up and running?
ABC: Whenever someone tells me that something I’ve written has helped them, it motivates me.
MW: What three words would describe you in 2016?
ABC: Driven, growth, focused.
