That moment when I am checking my Facebook Messenger inbox, one of my graduate school besties could not wait to tell me about Medium. I felt good that she remembered that I spent tons of my time/business in the blogging arena. She became super excited to share this stellar blogging platform with me! She told me that I needed to check it out ASAP and to get all the details about Medium.
The knowledge that she shared about this blogging platform really blew my mind! I think that she knew that it would benefit the cause to seek out this new trend, and open the door of possibilities to really change the game as a blogger.
I have heard of Medium before in different conversations among other bloggers and by social media experts on the world-wide web, but never took the time to really do a through background check and research on it.
Let me tell you, after I received that message from my dear friend. I decided to actually see what Medium had to offer bloggers, writers, and serious word-smiths.
I believe that it is very important to have different platforms to expand your blogging voice. I have shared my voice on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Periscope, and Instagram. Medium is the opportunity to expand and grow as a seasoned or novice blogger.
Much to my surprise “Medium,” is for people who work diligently in the tech and media industry, and one of the trendiest and fastest growing blogging platforms today. The thing is writing is a major passion in my life. I simply adore the opportunity to share different articles, blog posts, and written word online.
The ability to connect with other talented writers in a safe space is priceless in my humble opinion, and to explore different avenues to improve upon my craft is a bonus indeed!
And girl, medium is recognized as high quality publishing platform for some of the most ambitious writers that utilize it to craft everything from the most detailed research based blog post, to short personal pieces, and thought-provoking stories.
However, medium users cannot re-blog posts from others, but they can press a lovely heart icon to recommend it. Medium has close ties with Twitter which makes it even more convenient for bloggers to share their posts on social media channels with their peers and readers.
So far, I really love the look of medium it has a very clean minimal look to immerse in a place with the best written content. I think that in the future Medium will become another platform to share different blog posts with other creatives in the digital space as a media entrepreneur.
