With the New Year only a couple of days away. I am sure that we are all planning, preparing, working on vision boards, hustling to get our business in order, and spending quality time with family and friends. I know that we are all purging our bills, deep cleaning our homes, and creating a clean slate for the New Year. We are searching for that perfect NYE outfit, or making plans to attend our church’s Watch Night service. Believe me, I am doing the exact same thing! But there a few things that you may have missed in your planning and creating a new beginning this season. I do not believe in waiting until 2016 to start manifesting your destiny and walking in your purpose, and chasing your passion! I believe that the New Year begins with a new you, and living boldly in your truth, with your confident voice and your authentic self! I want you to do these four things for me:
1. Spiritual and Physical cleansing
Prepare yourself spiritually and physically before the New Year. I believe that it is important to have a proper spiritual balance by praying, fasting, and staying in the word of God to achieve your 2016 goals. I believe that when you stay prayed up and in the word, your goals and your vision can manifest with more clarity and determination for the future. Favor is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. Success is what happens when preparation meets potential. I am praying for both favor and success for 2016!
2. Set three words to focus on for the year
Where you put your focus is where you will see the most change and increase. If you want to live a more abundant life make your word abundance, if you are looking for prosperity, happiness, peace, make these your three words as we are embarking on the New Year. If you want every aspect of your life to go above and beyond and live authentically in your truth, make your word greatness. If you want to create that awesome course, write that book, begin coaching clients have faith that you can make your dreams a reality, and make one of your words faith. After you have set your three words post them everywhere in your home, speak them, and live by them everyday!
3. Let Go and Let God
Let all negative energy, negative things, and negative people leave them behind in 2015. You do not want to go into 2016 with negative baggage, leave all of the baggage at the airport as you take a flight towards the ultimate freedom of living your passion and walking in your purpose for 2016!
4. Believe, Achieve, and Receive
Believe that you are able to accomplish your goals for 2016 and take proper action to complete them, write them down in a journal, planner, and calendar daily. Do not be afraid to ask for help from others and to search for a proper support system, trust in an accountability partner and utilize effective team to work towards taking your brand and business to the next level. I believe that you should begin by building substantial relationships before the New Year, and nourish the current relationships that you have built in 2015 as they grow with you and your blog or flourishing business.
