Going for my 4 mile walk and receiving Rosetta Thurman’s email from the Happy Black Woman Tribe really helped me to refocus and gain clarity today. With all that is happening in our world from politics to motherhood and everything in between, it can become a challenge to understand how to walk in your purpose, or how to respond to certain situations in your community like Black Lives Matter? When situations come your way and you feel saddened or helpless you may ask what can you do?
I am going to do what I am being called to do, to strengthen my commitment to bloggers, small business owners, creatives, and Mompreneurs. To be a maid servant and continue to serve as many people as possible, while letting the world know God and heaven are real and that prayer changes things and people!
To not let anyone stop me from walking in my purpose of helping others and being an encourager and wearing many hats, writing and editing articles, taking care of my household and raising my little kingdom! I am going to continue to lead by example, by not just saying what I plan on doing, but taking action on my hopes and dreams for the future!
I am going to keep a positive attitude and continue to support Black businesses, services, and products. I plan on working towards social justice and equality for people in the African Diaspora and the world. I am excited about taking leaps of faith to create a platform of truth and love for generations to have a blue print to follow for their own life.
I am going to continue to be the change that I want to see in the world. I am going to continue to pour into my children the power of greatness and being your authentic self. I am going to continue to pray without ceasing, and to work with “like-minded spirits,” to make the world a better place.
